Algarve Holiday Villa Photography - The A-Z of why you should be sleeping with us.

After talking to us, we persuaded him to paint the back wall and then we returned to take the new promotional photograph “bedroom B”.
For the price of a can of paint, this room has been transformed. It will stand out in the rental listings, meaning it will get noticed more.

In short, it´s more attractive. More attractive equals more bookings - SIMPLE

There is an exhibition of Photography, Paintings, Drawings, Sculpture and Ceramics by local artists in Aljezur, West Coast.

There is a photographic exhibition here in Castro Marim, Algarve from November 15th until November 30th.

The exhibition will be showing the winning photos of the Castro Marim medieval days photo competition and will be held in the castle church, everyday from 10am to 5pm.

Rental Property Photography - Algarve Renovation Retreat

We spent some of Thursday taking photographs of Casa Gastronomica, which is between Loule and Benafim, for our clients, algarvehousing.net.

As you can see we were blessed with clear skies and the house itself is very photogenic, being a mix of  traditional meets modern in its renovation style.

Other owners of property, for the rental market, can learn a lot from these pictures.

You can clearly see the power of colour when used, both, inside and out.
Rooms can appear fresher or warmer, bedrooms can project a romantic air. Outdoor terraces become transformed by a backdrop of colour and a stage is set, imagine the outdoor terraces in the gallery if they were white - They would loose all of their appeal.

These colourful images attract the eye. Its as simple as that.

For the price of a can of paint all rental owners can give at least one room a colour makeover.

If you want to stand out from the crowd, and attract visitors to your web pages before they visit your competitors, then you had better start thinking in colour.

I was asked to take some photographs, of some pen and ink drawings, for One Line Design, local Algarve Artist Julia Thiemicke. All of these drawings consist of a single continuous line.

I have put the first collection here for you to see.

If you are in the Lagos area and into Photography you may well fancy a visit to the photographic exhibition, “Oscar Niemeyer” by architectural photographer Leonardo Finotti, to see some stunning photos like the one above.

The exhibition is taking place until December 30th at the cultral centre in Lagos. Opening times are 10am until 8pm. Call 282 770 450 for more information

I see that there is a Photography Exhibition in Lagos from the first of November until the 15th.
The photography is by Joao Paulo Carrondo and Gisela Buff. There are also watercolours on show by Moira Maguire.

The exhibition is to be held in the Armazém Regimental de Lagos (across from the Slave Market)
and is open everyday from 10:00 to 19:00

Here is a great example of property photography and the value of your online image.

We were back at Casa Vilarinha yesterday, even though we had only recently spent a day updating the portfolio of images of this house.

The owner had replaced the poolside furniture and we were asked to take new photos and thats just what we did. If you click on the above picture you can see the resulting gallery.

This house is one of the most photogenic villas here in Algarve. But there are over 3,000 others for rent in this region alone, so you have to stand out from the crowd, so, keep updating and improving your online image no matter how good it is now.

We spent Saturday near Lagos, photographing this beautiful new luxury villa for the owners, as they plan on renting this 3 bedroom house set within this new village development.

We have tried to convey, not only the rooms themselves, but also, the atmosphere created by the luxurious fixtures and fittings that have been used throughout.
